Anca Barbu is a local Miami artist originally from Romania. Traveling and the beautiful things in life have inspired her work. She moved to NYC some time ago to pursue a career in art which resulted in success being featured in several galleries and solo exhibitions with her paintings. Her inspiration often came from travel to tropical places in the Caribbean, making her art very colorful and full of life. As NYC got colder and dirtier every year, Anca decided to make the move to sunny Miami to follow the large art movement and start her company in an everyday summer bliss.
Since her move to Miami Anca started her company BrushCases making hand painted phone covers
. In an attempt to get her art in everyone’s hands, Anca has had large success with her original phone cases. With phones being so close and personal to each and one of us, it is nice to be able to differentiate with an original painting protecting the phone. She makes custom designs as well as already made top selling designs.
Anca is a regular in Wynwood arts district with her bigger paintings featured in the local galleries and her monthly Art Walk pop up shop across from Panther Coffee. You can find her selling her cases in local art fairs and events throughout Miami and Southern Florida. When she is not selling cases, Anca is busy working on her next big art project.
Featured in several magazines as well as Fox news for her BrushCases, Anca has managed to place her product in stores in NYC, Miami and Ibiza. You can find BrushCases in stores such as The Mobile Spa in West Village NYC or Alessandra Gold Concept Store in Design District of Miami. The cases retail at $45 and are a steal for original artwork.
To purchase a case you can also go online to her website www.BrushCases.com
