More About me:
It’s been a long 28yrs trying to develop something I could call my own. The way I see it, everything starts with a frame of mind and a fresh style… hence the name S.W.A.M. or Survival With A Mind. When I was a young buck in kinder-garden, we were given an assignment to complete with our choice of crayons or colored pencils. I chose dirt as my canvas and a stick as my pencil. Even though we never received grades at that age I immediately failed with my peers and unfortunately most of my teachers. I was given the whole “he’s got A.D.D.” speech and denied a rebuttal. From that point on I made it a rule of thumb to think outside the box, write pass the red margin, and raise the bar.

At an early age we all get taught the basics… English, History, Science and Math. Although Art was not in the lineup, I pleaded for it to be. It was just like Math but when asked what 3+3 was, I applied art to logic and said 3+3 is 8. By applying the shapes of the two 3’s together it became apparent to me that a backwards 3 in addition to a regular 3 looked like an 8. As long as I could show a process or document the outcome on paper I wasn’t crazy to people. It became a desire to have my words be worth at least one picture that explained itself entirely. Style was how I made sure my pictures and words were seen and heard. Eventually I became a master of piecing things together. I grew to understand my work in a whole new light. I created lifestyles for my art and gave each style a character that would act as a spokesman for their existence. Ace (0135) is the spokesman for my current style.

Ace, a.k.a. 0135, is a renegade whose inevitable passion will collide with the on-going facades in reality. In less than three generations, Ace was born from a nonsensical babble that reigned in the cities of collective speech. 0135 exists between imagination and action, with no other task than to create the ideologies of the talking mirror. He is indeed the bearer of 1000 words and intends on framing the world with a case no court is fit for… truth!

As an Artist, Ace offers a selection of valued paintings and drawings that may be purchased in their many forms be it canvas, wood, or t-shirt material. Mr. 0135 will provide for nonsense the meaning of worth. Although Ace holds his art to be the dominant gene, he remains no stranger to spoken opinions and prophetic-like dialogue.
